Messing about in Science: Inquiry and Exploration by David and Frances Hawkins
August 16 @ 9:30 am - 3:30 pm
One event on August 17, 2018 at 9:30am
Please join the Museum of Science for an extended, two-day gathering with Barry Kluger-Bell. Barry started his career as a nuclear physics researcher. However, while still in graduate school at the University of Colorado at Boulder, he began working with David and Frances Hawkins, leaders of the education reform movement in the 1960s and 70s at the Mountain View Center for Environmental Education. He soon found that the intellectual challenges of learning were at least as formidable (and intriguing!) as those of nuclear physics.
The workshop is free, but space is limited to 25 participants each day, so please register early. This program is open only to registered Teacher Partners. If you are not eligible for the Teacher Partner Program but would still like to participate, please email email@example.com. Your request will be considered on a space-available basis.
